Now that the first days of celebrating the new year are over, perhaps you have started dreaming and planning 2022. Is a move on the horizon, selling the home you're in, moving to a new city or state, or maybe selling an investment property and capturing some gains? Have you ever thought of owning a rental, an air BnB, or your own small business? Or perhaps you're ready to buy a new residence, your first home, or a vacation home?
The new year is a great time to initiate plans for such momentous activities. I like to write down my dreams (and remember to dream big) on a whiteboard. It's a great place to take notes for courses of action that will help achieve the goals and steps that need to be taken. Once the dream has started settling in as a specific intention to enact, move the plan to a digital or paper notebook for more detail and get started.
